Kebab sauce / vegan garlic yogurt sauce
According to this simple recipe you can make the vegan kebab sauce with yogurt and garlic yourself. You only need a few ingredients and the sauce is ready very quickly. It also goes perfectly with other dishes, such as salads, bowls or falafels.

200 g natural unsweetened vegetable yogurt (e.g. soy yogurt) 20 g tahini 1 clove of garlic 1 tbsp lemon juice salt pepper
Mix vegetable natural yogurt, tahini, pressed garlic and lemon juice to a homogeneous mass, season the kebab sauce with salt and pepper.
Alternatively, you can put all the ingredients, including the whole, peeled garlic clove, in a blender and mix to a homogeneous sauce.
Instead of vegetable natural yogurt also works natural yogurt from cow's milk. In this case, the kebab sauce is not vegan.
Use only yogurt without sugar.
You can add fresh herbs to the kebab sauce.
Instead of tahini go cashew butter and almond paste.
Instead of lemon juice goes apple cider vinegar.
